Very high quality of meat if you’re looking for a good steak in Paris. The meat is really tender (looks like they aged it for at least several weeks). Fresh home made fries. The wine suggestion was average. Nice decoration and ambiance. Small, warm and cozy restaurant in a quiet corner.
What’s great restaurant! Excellent quality , enormous portions and a high standard of cooking. What is also impressive is their wine selection. Two superb red at the lower end of the budget we gave them. This was our second visit and the negative reviews perplexed me. When busy it’s a typical French restaurant. Don’t dither and be decisive! In the early part of the week for Our second visit it was quieter and the staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful .
such a rich and unique experience to dine here! it wasn't like any other restaurant or steak place! don't bother going here if you like your steak well-done, or even medium-well. I don't think I can have steak tartare anywhere wise now that I've tried William's. and the fried potatoes... don't make me start about it! the genuine hospitality that I received was so beyond anything similar!
A mandatory stop whenever i'm in Paris. On the first time, i tried the tartare, the filet de boeuf and the creme caramel. This time i had the tataki, the rumsteak and the mousse au chocolat. They have indeed the best tartare. It's not an opinion, it's a fact. Everything was delicious and the meat was perfectly cooked. You can feel the passion in what they do. Le Severo is a fitting way to describe it. Respect it and embrace it and you'll love it too... Merci and see you next time!!!
Good food. Discourteous ( or should I say Rude) owner. We went here 7:15pm since our schedule was 7:30 pm We waited for the crew to offer us food and they did exactly 7:30pm. Asked them if they have English menu the owner rudely said”no”. We asked him what he recommends, he speaks French and didn’t understand anything he said so we just ordered(I don’t blame him if he doesn’t speak English, I fully understand and respect it) but a smile wouldn’t cost him a penny. Anyway the food were good. Steak was really soft.the is price is just. We smiled at him and said that the food were great. He just looked at us without even appreciating our acknowledgement for the food( and to think…NO one was inside the restaurant aside from us that time), no Merci, no smile, no anything just a vvveerryy straight face. That’s how grateful the owner was! Unbelievable! but food was great. Still I wouldn’t come back.
